How he got here

From a small town in MP to one million followers.

Saurabh grew up in Barhi, a small town in Madhya Pradesh. His father taught at the local government school. His first exposure to a computer was at that school, and by Class 5 he had one of his own. He spent most of his school years taking it apart, putting it back together, and breaking whatever software he could find on it.

He studied Computer Science Engineering at MITS Gwalior, graduating in 2018. Somewhere in the middle of the degree, he started a tech blog with a friend. After that ended, he started a second one on his own called Getting Geek. Writing reviews, running ads, and chasing traffic taught him SEO the hard way. The blog eventually pulled 20,000 visitors a day, earned him a spot in Google's Creator Program with close to a million followers on Google+, and paid better than most fresher salaries.

That was the moment the plan changed. Accenture offered him a software engineering role through campus placement. He turned it down.

A note, early in

He picks up tools fast, and he picks up the business faster.

Saurabh is first and foremost a marketer. Strategy, branding, content, ads, SEO, analytics — he has done each long enough to know what actually moves a business forward and what is performative.

He works in-depth, not at distance. The same hands that plan the quarter write the copy, set up the pixels, and sit in the zoom.

The agency years

Seven years inside other people's agencies.

His first proper job was with SilverTouch Technologies in Bhopal, consulting for the Madhya Pradesh Department of Public Relations. He was 23, managing the social accounts of around 50 government departments and a long list of district collectors. A year later he moved to Quantum Communications in Delhi, working on Election Commission campaigns through the general and state elections.

After that came a long stretch with SF Consultant in Bhopal, where he ran performance campaigns with budgets up to ₹25 lakh a month, launched brands in the handicraft and handloom space, and handled digital promotions for Ministry of Culture and MSME initiatives. One of those campaigns contributed to a Guinness World Record. Another helped position Bhopal as India's cleanest state capital in Swachh Survekshan 2020.

Then a stint as VP of Digital Marketing and Strategy at GrowthX Analytics in Raipur, leading client accounts and agency strategy.

By the end of 2024, he had enough of working inside other people's agencies. In January 2025, he started his own.

"I've sat on both sides — the person making the thing and the person paying for it. Most of the friction is translation."

Outside of work

Formula 1, space opera, and old games.

He plays games when there is time, and the list tends toward the old favourites. The Mass Effect trilogy. Max Payne. Half-Life. He follows Formula 1 through the season. He reads a lot of science fiction, mostly space opera and the nerdier end of it. Project Hail Mary. Dark Matter. Recursion. The Expanse books. He usually has one running at any given time.
